We are looking forward to welcoming you to the 3rd World Congress on Controversies in Multiple Myeloma (COMy), from April 21-22, 2017, in Paris, France. In preparation for this upcoming event, we would like to provide you with the below information for your perusal before traveling to join us at the COMy Congress:

Arrival from the airport to the Congress venue:
If you are arriving at the Charles de Gaulle airport:
By taxi: The hotel by car is about a 30-minute drive, depending on traffic. Estimated fare is between 55-65 EUR (one way)
By public transportation: Take the RER B Train from CDG Airport to Châtelet Les Halles station, transfer (using the same ticket) to Metro Line 1 direction La Défense until station Esplanade de la Défense. The Mélia Hotel is just a few steps from Metro Esplanade de la Défense station. Estimated fare: 12 EUR (one way)
If you are arriving at the Orly airport:
By taxi: The hotel by car is about a 25-minute drive, depending on traffic. Estimated fare is between 45-55 EUR (one way)
By public transportation: Take the Orlyval light rail which connects the airport to the RER B Train. Then take RER B to Châtelet-Les Halles transfer (using the same ticket) to Metro Line 1 direction La Défense until station Esplanade de la Défense. The Mélia Hotel is just a few steps from Metro Esplanade de la Défense station. Estimated fare: 14 EUR (one way)
A special pre-congress session, for patients’ advocacy group will be held on Friday, April 21 from 08:30-09:45
The Opening Session starts at 10:00 on Friday, April 21, at the Miro 1+2 Located on the Level -1 of the Melia Hotel.
Registration and Hospitality Desk
The Registration Desk will operate during the following hours:
Friday, April 21 - 08:00-20:00
Saturday, April 22 - 07:30-17:15
The registration desk will be located on level -1 of the Melia Hotel.
Please visit the Registration Desk upon arrival in order to receive your kit containing the COMy Program Book, your personal name badge, etc.
Please remember to wear your name badge to all Congress activities and social events.

the Exhibition Area is located in the Takis Foyer and Miro 3 on Level -1 of the Melia Hotel.
The COMy Welcome Reception will be held on Friday, April 21 from 19:00-20:00 in the exhibition area, all registered participants are invited to join us!
Please note that all Congress activities will take place at the Meliá Paris La Défense.
Invited Speakers Presentations
Speakers are requested to visit the preview corner 2 hour prior to the session in which they are scheduled in order to submit their presentations.
Posters will be available for viewing on-site over the 2 main days of the Congress (Friday, April 21 and Saturday, April 22).
Posters should be mounted on the boards provided on-site on Friday morning (April 21). Mounting material will be provided by the Congress Secretariat.
Please check your poster number in your Congress Program Book.
Poster presenters should plan to be beside their posters to answer questions during the breaks as scheduled in the Program.
Please remember to dismantle your poster at the end of the Congress, Saturday, no later than 17:30. The Congress Organizer is not responsible for posters that are not removed on time!
Prior to booking flights, participants are strongly advised to confirm with their travel agent whether they require a Visa to travel to Paris, France. Information about Visa requirements can be found on the World Travel Guide website: worldtravelguide.net.
The Congress Organizers will not be responsible for any cancellations or delays caused by authorities due to lack of Visa or other required documentation.

Informal for all occasions
If you don't mind bringing a light coat, you will enjoy visiting Paris in April – average daytime temperatures are 15 °C (60°F), an average low of 7°C (44°F) can be expected in the evenings.
Photography and Recording Policy
Participants are asked to be respectful of their colleagues by turning off all cell phones and PDA devices before entering the session hall.
The Congress Secretariat and Organizers cannot accept liability for personal accidents, nor loss of or damage to private property of participants, either during or directly arising from the 3rd World Congress on Controversies in Multiple Myeloma (COMy). Participants should make their own arrangements with respect to health and travel insurance.
